| Malcolm McClure | Road Tolls | In this matter I was charged by consumer affairs with 9 charges. I won on appeal to the County Court of Victoria. The Department of consumer affairs was trying to stop me from issuing Toll Exemption Tickets. It was a long battle, but my right to issue Toll Exemption Tickets to members was evenutally upheld. | |
| Craig Davidson | Road Tolls | Craig beat CityLink road tolls, August 2005. Craig did a really fantastic job, and got costs ordered in his favor! ($30 000). His matter also was very long, but the fruits go to those who endure. | |

Right of Free Speech | This was an amazing case. An injunction was put by Consumer Affairs, against Andrew and I to stop us from hosting a Step 1 Seminar on 28 October 2004. . I was in Bendigo to give the seminar when confronted by soldiers of the Justice Department who served documents on us to stop the seminar. This is the first time that UPMART member's rights of free speach and rights of political protest was seriously threatened. However the seminar went ahead because of some quick thinking by me and the application of common law tools. Andrew and I thereafter went to court and defeated the injunction. Andrew and I work well as a team. I am thankful and grateful to him for his work and his being there in the matter when I was interstate. Andrew presents very well in court, and puts the arguments forward like few other members. The magistrate was excellent. He was an excellent umpire and directed both sides with wisdom and integrity. The consumer affairs press release and affidavit are interesting reading. | |

| Tony Spirovski | UCLVR | Tony excelled, and won his matter in his own right, without reference to any other wins. He is happy, we are happy, but the police were not happy. It was tough at the start, like it is for all of us. Victory is sweet to those who have earned it. Well done!! Download Tony's victory. | |
| Andrew Moyle | UCLVR | On Andrew won his matter upon Appeal to the County Court of Victoria. 27 July 2005. Yes this is a good win, but as you can see, there was still charges that were upheld, but this was only a battle. The primary objective of the cause is yet to be won! Download Andrew's victory. Note: arising from this matter in one of his many appearances before the court, Andrew put Judge Robertson (not the judge who gave to him his win), on judicial review. Many of our members have develeped competancy in this proceeding. We are very grateful to Andrew for the amazing work he has done, and the many newspaper articles he has put in The Strategy. | |
